Efficient, range-topping performance

The 2.0 TFSI unit under the bonnet of the Audi S3 excels with its power and endurance. This 4-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers an impressive output of 195 kW (265 bhp), yet it seldom requires refuelling. This is all made possible by the TFSI petrol direct injection technology: tested at Le Mans, proven out on the road.

Formidable torque

Thanks to the turbocharger an impressive 350 Nm of torque is on tap over a wide rev band from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm. The breathtaking acceleration of the S3 stems from this broad turbo plateau and the engine's instantaneous responsiveness: the turbocharged FSI propels the S3 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds.
