Sporty understatement:
The Design.

At the front of the new S4 Avant, the single-frame grille and the accentuated horizontal line pattern emphasise the width. The bumper and the air inlets are distinctively contoured. Many mounted parts are painted in fine-grained matt greys, and chrome inlays emphasise specific areas.

    The Audi Matrix LED headlights

The headlights, with their distinctive serrated bottom edge, are multifaceted and three-dimensionally designed; with the S4 Avant standard configuration Audi delivers them in LED technology with dynamic blinker light at the back. The Matrix LED headlights will be provided on request. These twelve high beam LEDs illuminate the road like daylight, but are regulated with such high precision that they will not dazzle oncoming drivers. The Matrix LED headlights contain the concise, dynamic blinker light at the front as well. Another technical innovation is the road sign anti-glare: If the light falls on a highly reflective traffic sign, it will be dimmed by about a third.

    Sporty elegance

The flowing design of the S4 Avant, with its sharp lines, brings out the essence of the Audi brand - sporty elegance at 4.75 meters in length. At the front and back, a decidedly accentuated horizontal line pattern emphasises the width. Double aluminium struts structure the single-frame grille. The air inlets, circumscribed by striking contours, enclose arrow-shaped crosspieces, also with aluminium overlay. To improve the aerodynamics they precisely direct a portion of the travelling wind into the wheel arches.
