    Sometimes less is more

With Audi Space Frame technology, both aluminium and steel are used for elements of the body, making the all-new TT up to 45 kg lighter than its predecessor. So, while the car is more agile, it’s less demanding at the fuel pump.

The TFSI engine of the Audi TT. Staying true.

Audi TFSI engines attain a particularly high compression rate. The result: outstanding efficiency combined with optimum performance.

Substituting forced-induction technology for cubic capacity has the effect of considerably reducing engine size and weight – while performance remains as impressively dynamic as ever. For power delivery that will win you over from the word go. The 2.0 TFSI quattro engine in the all-new Audi TT has a power output of 169  kW, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h. The 1.8L variant has a power output of 132 kW, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds and a top speed of 241 km/h.

quattro – permanent power to all four wheels

The all-new Audi TT’s quattro permanent all-wheel drive system has been specially configured for the vehicle’s sporty character. This exclusive configuration means more fun at the wheel, thanks to the combination of high traction and lateral stability. This is standard in the 2.0L variant.

It guarantees more driving pleasure – especially on slippery road surfaces. If the wheels of one axle lose grip and threaten to spin, the drive torque is redirected via the transfer case and hydraulic multi-plate clutch to the other axle, fully automatically and continuously. The result: better acceleration, greater lateral stability, improved traction, enhanced safety and even more driving pleasure.
