  • Lance change assist (side assist) helps the driver monitor traffic behind the vehicle within an operating range starting at approximately 15 km/h. In the event of a situation deemed not ideal for a lane change, the system warns the driver by means of LED displays in the relevant exterior mirror.
  • Audi pre sense rear uses additionally installed radar sensors to detect possible rear-end collisions. The front seat belts are tensioned electrically as a preventive measure. Similarly, the windows and – if fitted – the slide-and-tilt glass sunroof are closed. The hazard warning lights are activated at a faster flashing frequency to warn traffic in the vicinity.
  • Exit warning and rear cross-traffic assist are also included in combination with the park assist system. If the doors are opened when the vehicle is stationary, the exit warning alerts you to potential collisions with other detected road users, e.g. vehicles approaching from behind. Rear cross-traffic assist can warn passengers about a potential collision with approaching moving objects (e.g. vehicles in cross traffic) when reversing at speeds up to approx. 15 km/h
