Luggage compartment lid, electrically opening and closing
The luggage compartment lid can be opened or closed by pressing the button on the vehicle key or in the driver’s door, or by using the soft touch button in the luggage compartment lid handle. In conjunction with the optional convenience key, a foot gesture (kicking motion) at the rear of the vehicle is all that is required if you have your hands full. There are many ways to open and close the luggage compartment lid. Simple and convenient.
After it is unlocked, the luggage compartment lid opens electrically and can be closed again at the touch of a button. Closing the luggage compartment lid is just as easy and convenient as opening it by pressing the button on the inside of the luggage compartment lid, the vehicle key in conjunction with the optional convenience key or via the button in the driver’s door. The power-latching feature makes it easier to close the lid manually when required.
