The recuperation system can be used to recover energy – both when coasting and braking. Recuperation when coasting is activated when you take your foot off the accelerator. The degree of recuperation is selected either automatically or manually via the steering wheel paddles – adjustable in three stages.

Fast charging is now possible with up to 170 kW⁹ at High Power Charging stations. With the e-tron route planner⁷, charging stops are integrated into the route guidance in such a way that the high charging capacity can be used effectively.
