Serving up friendship
Meet Patsy Lim, the Audi Service Centre barista based in Ubi who has dished out top-notch service, warm smiles and awesome coffee to customers for more than two years.
Brewing superb coffee
Always ready with a warm smile, Aunty Patsy, as she is affectionately known, has been serving complimentary coffee and pastries to customers at the Audi Service Centre in Ubi for more than two years. The former tea lady is trained to be a barista and makes excellent lattes and cappuccinos, often adding simple coffee art too. Customers say that her coffees are better than those found at major coffee-house chains.
Caring for the customer
Besides being thoroughly professional at work, Aunty Patsy also cares for her customers. Mr. Tan Choon Leong wrote in to thank her for showing him to another table equipped with a wall power socket. She had noticed that he was working on his laptop while waiting for his vehicle to be fixed. He adds: “As I had not had my breakfast, she offered to look after my belongings while I went to one of the nearby food courts.”
Warm and approachable
Aunty Patsy is always happy to connect with customers and chat with them. Another satisfied customer, Mr. Michael Lim, calls her the bright spark who never fails to make his day. He explains: “She is very quick to attend to customers, always with a bright smile and a chirpy demeanour. Patsy always carries herself well, in congruence with the image that Audi portrays. She is also sincere when engaging in conversations with customers in the waiting area. All in all, if I had ten thumbs, I would give (her) ten thumbs up.”
